About Me

Hello!

My name is Parker McClay and I am a Boston-based freelance illustrator working both traditionally and digitally. I graduated from Lesley University in 2021 with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Visual Narrative. Throughout my education, I learned to illustrate digitally while maintaining the warmth and familiarity of traditional art forms such as watercolor and oil pastels. I remember how captivated I was by the illustrations in the books I read as a child. I would love to have the opportunity to pass on that sense of enchantment. I find that I am highly inspired by nature and animals; these subjects have become the focus of most of my work. My hope is that my illustrations can, if only for a moment, transport the viewer to universes where everything and anything is possible.
